New Member Meeting is Oct. 5

Food, fun and frolic are on tap for the Delavan Lions Club’s New and Prospective Member Social. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 5, at the new Brick Street Market, 114 E. Walworth St. in Delavan.

If you enjoyed a delicious cob of sweet corn at this year’s Walworth County Fair, have had the mouth-watering corned beef and cabbage served up at the Village Restaurant each March, or had breakfast with the Easter Bunny in April, you’ve met some of your Delavan Lions. They’ve been hosting these and other fun events, and have been contributing to a variety of great causes in our area for more than 77 years.

All of the money collected at these events goes to charitable causes.
